Dela Ogbemudia
Founder, Lead Writer & Content Strategist – DelaInk
DelaInk is the creative vision of Dela Ogbemudia, a writer, strategist, and editor with a passion for helping brands find their voice and tell their story. Dela’s writing journey began over 13 years ago, inspired by her late mother, Mrs. Roseline Nwakego Ogbemudia, who was a gifted storyteller who once dreamed of publishing her own books. That dream lives on in every word Dela writes.
In 2019, shortly after earning her degree in Political Science from the prestigious Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana, Dela returned to her hometown of Benin City, Nigeria, unsure of where to begin her professional path. She started off in customer service, first as a call representative, then transitioned into email communications.
But it wasn’t until she began crafting product descriptions that something clicked, she rediscovered her lifelong love for writing.
What began as a quiet passion for language soon evolved into a purposeful career grounded in empathy, persistence, and meaningful expression.
Over the years, Dela has written for 50+ clients across the U.S., U.K., Nigeria, Israel, and beyond, producing high-performing content in industries like franchise development, real estate, tech, sleep health, and business consulting.
Though mostly a ghost writer, her work has been featured in launch campaigns, web platforms, long-form publications, and global brand strategy sessions.
But what truly sets her apart isn’t just the pen, it’s the process.
Dela approaches every project with a blend of research, emotional intelligence, and sharp strategic thinking.
She’s led content teams, trained upcoming writers, and works directly with agencies like TopFire Media and Marion Relationship Marketing. Whether it’s crafting a landing page or consulting on a full-scale editorial plan, she’s all in, from first draft to final result.
In 2025, Dela registered TheDelaInk Media with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), officially stepping into her role not just as a creator, but as a founder. It was a milestone that marked her transition from freelancer to agency builder, one guided by values like clarity, excellence, and authentic partnership.
